Blue Ice Kayaking Sea kayak on a remote and pristine lake deep in the Chugach Mountains. Waterfalls cascade from the mountain sides as you kayak across turquoise green Carmen Lake. Look for wildlife like eagles, ducks moose and bears. We access this backcountry in one of our comfortable and maneuverable jet boats driven by our experienced guide. Take the exciting ride up to the 20 Mile Glacier Lake to view the glaciers face, icebergs and snow caped mountains.
This one of a kind activity includes a complementary beach side lunch, paddling gear and comfortable sit-on-top sea kayaks.
The 20 Mile River system is managed for its wild characteristics and has a limited capacity so book early.

Jet Boat Kayaking Jet boat to the wilds of Alaska for remote lake kayaking, opportunities to look for wildlife and wilderness adventure. Navigate the scenic, corridor of Twentymile, Glacier and Carmen Rivers. Along the way we stop to view beaver logs and look for eagles. The river narrows, climbs and offers twists and turns on the way to Carmen Lake our ultimate remote destination. Step onto the shore of Carmen Lake to take in your surroundings. After a snack of energy bars and water we begin kayaking in this protected area is on stable and comfortable single passenger sit-on-top style Ocean Kayaks. Our unique Chugach National Forest permits allow us to store these kayaks at our Carmen location.

Look for wildlife like eagles, ducks, moose and bears. Paddle to a distant lookout for views of the surrounding mountains and glaciers. Excitement lies around every corner as we return by jet boat the 11 miles of remote, braided and log strewn channels. The Twentymile River system is managed for its wild characteristics and has a limit on the number of visitors so book early.
