Snowshoe or cross-country ski tour to meet Iditarod Team Chugach Express for sled dog mushing. Mush the long way around Moose Meadows, drive the team and visit their kennel home. Learn about the mushing lifestyle, the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race and the Alaskan husky athletes eager to pull you along the way.
Pan for gold at a nearby creek, and find your fortune? Girdwood is rich with placer gold mine history. An igloo/snow shelter visit rounds out our tour as we explore snowy meadows and pristine forests. Price: $299 (adult) $259 (children 8-12) Two departures daily at 9 AM and 1 PM (allow 3 hours)
